Blackboard - Turn off date

As you will be aware the RVC is currently in the process of moving from Blackboard to RVC Learn, our new Virtual Learning Environment.  The content from all the old courses in Blackboard has now been copied across to RVC Learn, staff have been enrolled on their new courses, and student enrolments on to these new courses will take place between now and September.

Therefore, access to Blackboard will no longer be possible after 9am Friday 21st September 2012.  From this date, students and staff will no longer be able to view their old Blackboard courses or access any materials currently held on Blackboard.

The new RVC Learn courses are now in place and ready to be populated with teaching material for the new academic year. There is also a comprehensive archive of content from previous years available to students.

Please could I ask that all academic staff check that you are able to access their RVC Learn courses (learn.rvc.ac.uk) and that you are happy with the new structure as soon as possible. If you have any problems or concerns, then please email learn@rvc.ac.uk with as much detail as possible, and we will endeavour to resolve the problem.
