Summer Update

The Blackboard to RVC Learn migration project is continuing well. The design of the course pages and the layout for all the major courses starting in September has now been completed and they are now ready to be populated with content. Meanwhile, content in past Blackboard courses has been archived and will be available to all students from September for reference and revision.

Staff training in the use of RVC Learn is underway and will continue every Wednesday from 1-2pm in both Hawkshead (S71) and Camden (F26). Staff who have attended the sessions have commented on how valuable this basic introduction has proved. For staff who are unable to make one of these sessions, it is still important that they spend time using RVC Learn over the summer period - just log in at https://learn.rvc.ac.uk/.

An email factsheet, explaining what RVC Learn is, what to expect from RVC Learn and general student information will be sent to all RVC students shortly. The aim of this factsheet is to keep all students up to date with the latest happenings in RVC Learn, and to raise awareness of the new learning environment. Student induction and training will take place in September and October, and will be integrated into the induction process.
