CLOSING DATE: 5pm on FRIDAY 28 FEBRUARY 2020
We have three research experience placements (REPs) on offer for this summer 2020 (one funded by the BBSRC LIDo and two by the Animal Care Trust).
If you are interested in applying please send your CV (including your exam scores whilst at the RVC) and a statement of interest indicating which project(s) you are interested in and the reasons why you would benefit from doing this project to Liz Wilkinson by 5pm on 28 February 2020
You are also welcome to contact potential supervisors directly to see if they would be willing to put in a project with you. We would need a description of the proposed project and duration from the supervisor as well as a CV (including your exam scores whilst at the RVC) and a statement of interest saying why you want to do this project. Closing dates for these are also 28 February. Those students that have already contacted supervisors about putting in a project, will be contacted separately, about the application process.
Eligibility of students (for the BBSRC LIDo REP)
Selected student must be:
- In the middle years of their first degree studies (unfortunately BVetMed3 students are unable to apply due to EMS commitments)

Each REP is for up to 6 to 10 weeks (maximum of 35 hours per week) during the summer vacation and will be at the RVC. Please contact the relevant supervisor to discuss which campus it will be at. Duration where not already specified is to be determined between student and supervisor.
Support costs
You will receive a student stipend which is currently £9.62 hour.
Reporting and payments
The student and the awarding department are required to submit a brief report on the outcome of the REP within three months of completion of the placement.
