In 2013 we have a number of exciting new ideas and features that we would like to implement in RVC Learn to give students and staff a better learning experience.  These include:

  • Upgrading the server architecture of RVC Learn to improve overall performance and speed (scheduled for the 9th/10th January)
  • Improving the quizzes, including new types of question and more options
  • Introducing a search function, which will allow users to search for specific content
  • Wikivet integration – links to supplementary content within Wikivet
  • Integration of course calendars
  • Integration of the Bloomsbury Media Cloud within RVC Learn for storing online videos and publishing them quickly
  • Student and Staff focus groups – to obtain feedback and generate more ideas for the future of RVC Learn
  • More student and staff drop-in sessions
  • Staff training for Course Quality Assurance – best practises, model courses and design concepts
  • Further use of the Tip of the Week to run 5 minute, video based training.

If anyone has any more ideas or just things that you would like to see within RVC Learn, please do not hesitate to contact the RVC Learn team.
