Dear Staff and Students,  

There have been a number of reports this morning about colleagues being unable to access RVC LEARN. 

When attempting to access LEARN a screen advising you that the site it not secure blocks your entry. Following investigation into the issues we have been advised by CoSector (our hosting provider) that this is a problem with all JISC site security certificates and is causing problems nationwide. 

We know that at present this is currently affecting Mac users using Google Chrome however, we are expecting other browsers and PC users to also be affected in due course. 

Our IT colleagues have raised an urgent ticket with JISC who are working with their certificate provider to resolve the problem. 

We will continue to check and apply pressure on JISC until this issue is resolved. As I receive further information or updates, I will let you know.
