Dear RVC colleagues, students and Learn users

Apologies for the recent unexpected RVC Learn downtime. This was due to an unforeseen issue which required us to place the site into maintenance mode whilst we investigated.  We have now addressed the issue and apologise for any inconvenience caused. We aim to have RVC Learn back up and available by the end of today.

We aim to minimise disruptions such as this however, we do need to take RVC Learn down to resolve urgent issues. If you experience any issues with RVC Learn please notify our helpdesk as soon as possible by sending an email to learn@rvc.ac.uk. The Learn helpdesk is the quickest route to resolving your RVC Learn issues.

In addition, we have received feedback about the new Learn navigational design (part of the recent upgrade and RVC Learn developments) this is a key project for us moving onto the new term and as such we welcome your input. In the immediate to short term feel free to send all feedback to learn@rvc.ac.ukwhere we can collate it and use it in the new design. In the coming months we are looking to establish Student focus groups and would welcome student engagement to ensure that we create the best possible RVC Learn experience. Email the helpdesk if you would like to be part of these groups.

To ensure that you are all kept up-to-date regarding the planned work on RVC Learn we will be posting weekly updates on Learn, the Intranet, Facebook and to the SLTs directly.

Thank you for your understanding and the team and I look forward to working with you over the coming months.

Regards

Craig Daraz & the Digital Learning team
