During the Christmas period we saw an increased number of RVC students and staff giving out their RVC credentials in response to phishing emails.
If you have received such emails, please delete them and if you believe you have clicked links in these emails, please change your password immediately. Advice on doing this can be found on the RVC websitehttps://www.rvc.ac.uk/lisd/it-password-management

Please remember that IT Helpdesk will NEVER ask for your password, they will confirm your identity using other questions. If you are asked for your password, the email or communication is not genuine and should be reported to the Helpdesk accordingly. Things to look out for are; unexpected emails or emails that contain links to click or files to download.

We have disabled any accounts that have been compromised in order to prevent any further SPAM being sent out.For further advice on disabled accounts or if you unsure about the validity of an email please contact the Helpdesk on 5181 or helpdesk@rvc.ac.uk
