RVC Careers Service, in collaboration with STEM Learning, are offering you the opportunity to become a STEM Ambassador. STEM Ambassadors offer their time and enthusiasm to help bring science to life, mainly working with children and young people in schools and other settings. You only commit to undertaking one activity per year, and in return you get training, and the opportunity to develop your communication and presentation skills. We are also aiming to build a community of STEM Ambassadors here at RVC, so you will be able to work with your fellow students on projects, and support each other in this work.
You can find out more about becoming a STEM Ambassador here:

.
We are holding a training session for students who are interested in becoming STEM Ambassadors, as follows:
Date: Tuesday 6th March
Time: 1-3pm
Room: F4, Camden campus
This sessions aims to familiarise you with the STEM Ambassadors programme and provide tips about working effectively and safely with children.
As the role involves working with children and young people, you will also be required to complete a DBS check prior to the session, and bring your ID documents along to the session for verification. Further details on this will be sent to those students who are interested.
If you would like to attend, please email Helen Kempster, Careers Consultant in RVC Careers Service, at hkempster@rvc.ac.uk. Please also get in touch with her if you have any questions about the training or the STEM Ambassador programme.
