Supported by the LIVE Teaching Development Fund, an RVC cross-departmental team led by Dr Sarah Channon has produced an interactive online model of the equine distal forelimb and hindlimb.

Explore the Equine Distal Limb by comparing cross sectional photographs with the corresponding CT, MRI and ultrasound diagnostic images from the same thoroughbred horse. Click or tap images to show anatomical labels. If you are using a mobile device you can use the iSpring Play app to view the resource full screen or to download it for offline access.

Physical plastinated sections of each slice are also available in the RVC Anatomy museum.
