The RVC’s Professional Services teams operate across both campuses and impact directly or indirectly on most aspects of College life. Our activities range from management of Estates, IT and the Library, through HR, Governance and External Relations to the Academic Registry, RVC Access and the newly created Learning and Wellbeing Department.
We are a very diverse group, but the one thing that unites us is a desire to use our skills, knowledge and experience to deliver imaginative and robust solutions to the operational challenges the College faces in an increasingly complicated environment. Over the past year or so, we have been making changes to our structure which will help us do this more effectively. At the same time, we have responded to the retirement or departure of a number of long serving and well respected staff, replacing them with new people who have brought an external perspective on what we do and how we do it.
I do not want to clutter your inboxes with a long winded message about this reorganisation but, to avoid confusion and ensure people know where to go when they need help or advice, here is a very quick summary of the main activities undertaken by our seven teams:-
Access and International Engagement Director: Nina Davies
Academic Registry Registrar: Emma Burchfield
Learning and Wellbeing Director: Michele Milner

External Relations Director: Sarah Ready
Human Resources Director: Cindy Pike

To reflect these changes we are currently updating the PSD pages of the intranet and we are working to complete this by the end of 2017. In the meantime, you can still find out lots of useful information there about what we do, including our new organisation chart which includes key contacts in each of the above areas.
