Dear All,
We hope you are enjoying the hot weather and the summer!
Since the beginning of the summer term, the RVC Learn team has been working hard to try and improve RVC Learn, with a number of projects on-going that will be completed in time for the 2014/15 academic year.
Some of these projects include:
A new RVC Learn Theme - designed to work on all devices, including mobiles, the new theme will allow more information to be displayed and include the introduction of a drop down menu system for easy quick links to vital RVC resources.
Student Support course - incorporating the existing IT & Library Skills, Academic Skills and the Student Toolkit, this new easy to navigate course will be the new hub of student help and support.
Learning Resources course - incorporating and centralising many of the eMedia resources into one, easy to navigate, this course will include Vet Logic, eLectures, anatomy videos and links to key RVC learning resources.
Assessment - each of the undergraduate courses will have a dedicated space for assessment, including a new resource which will structure MCQs, Dragsters and other forms of assessment by strand, making it easier to locate assessment resources when revising.
BioVetSci - Each of the BioVetSci courses has been edited to include Learning Objectives and supplementary reading. Further enhancements will include strand video introductions and the creation of more formative assessment.
If you have any suggestions or comments about these projects, or would like to offer your help in testing our new range of courses, please contact learn@rvc.ac.uk
Kind Regards
The RVC Learn Team
