Dear RVC Staff and Student colleagues, 

Panopto have confirmed the details of their upcoming scheduled downtime release. Our Panopto cloud site will be updated with the latest features and improvements on Saturday, Jan 8th 2022. We expect up to 4 hours of downtime, with a start time of 10:00 PM UTC/GMT.


During the downtime, you will not be able to access videos on your Panopto site, and any attempts to upload from recording clients will result in a "Server unable to connect" message.

We realise that many of you need to access videos on Panopto during this time of year and would like to recommend that you plan ahead so that you can access the materials you need in advance. A guide on how to prepare can be found on RVC LEARN in the Student hub and the Staff Hub.  

As a reminder, if you experience any issues with RVC LEARN please log a call directly via the Service Desk Portal.

The LEARN helpdesk is the quickest route to resolving your RVC LEARN issues and is staffed 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday. Any tickets received outside of those hours will be responded to during working hours.
