Dear RVC colleagues, students and LEARN users

As a direct result of the issues with Panopto earlier in the week, Panopto have announced urgent scheduled downtime on Thursday, October 8th to improve their cloud infrastructure. This update will occur from 12:00 am to 3:00 am BST with up to 3 hours of downtime.

During this downtime you will not be able to access Panopto content and will be unable to record, upload, search content and playback videos. 

You will, be able to access other content on RVC LEARN. 

If you experience any issues with RVC LEARN please notify our Helpdesk as soon as possible by sending an email to learn@rvc.ac.uk. The LEARN helpdesk is the quickest route to resolving your RVC LEARN issues. The LEARN Helpdesk is staffed 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday. 

All further updates will be sent out via this channel and we will of course notify users tomorrow morning to confirm the service has been restored.
